52 degrees this morning, burrr! Finally jacket weather (in the mornings at least). Madison's   friend got her the cute black boots, now Madison   and Parker have matching shoes

Ahhhh

this is what i picked up from school today, i      was informed she is a scary cat (she dressed   herself up in the classroom costume castle)

Power House

Madison's Kindergarten class won the trophy for shool spirit, every kid in her class wore a red shirt. 



Madison at her school Power House assembly, the kindergarteners did great, they sang about a year   of learning while they build friendships.



Madison has a crush

a huge crush on a sweet little boy in her kindergarten class
she tells her dad and I that she loves him, and that he is sooo cute
she has practiced getting all dolled up for a date with him
she packs extra cookies in her lunch for him
she asked J and I why she loves him soooo much
she tells us that she wants to marry him
this little boy has been the focus of madison's little world for the last couple weeks

just over a month into kindergarten, and she discovered boys?
i'm not ready for this

A Morning with Madison

it's been 3 weeks and Madison is still so excited to go to school
pigtails is her favorite hair style

breakfast - blueberry nutrigrain bar in her school parking lot
she will not eat at home, she says she's not hungry

She loves the monkey bars and is so excited that    she can get to the 2nd or 3rd bar

Madison and Bernice - The Class Bear

Since the 2nd day of school Madison has been not so patiently waiting to take one of the class bears home from school. Today was finally her turn. She is so excited.

after a long day of playing, dress-up, and reading with Madison, Bernice,
and Daddy Bear were ready for bed.

meeting ms. kindergarten

Madison and I went to her Ice-cream Social / Meet the Teacher tonight at her elementary school. She considered it her first day of school, wore her first day of school clothes, and shoes, and was lucky enough to have Aunt Angie do a great first day of school hair style. She was a little disappointed when she figured out that she didn't actually have school. She is super excited to start tomorrow though.
