Ahhhh

this is what i picked up from school today, i      was informed she is a scary cat (she dressed   herself up in the classroom costume castle)

Toothless

After weeks of trying to get Madison let us pull   her tooth, she knocked it out herself, face     planting into her pillow

Playdate

Madison had an early moring (7am - yuck)      playdate with some friends from school

She still needs to be pushed on the swings - I   don't mind, I'm holding on to everything that    keeps her my baby

Power House

Madison's Kindergarten class won the trophy for shool spirit, every kid in her class wore a red shirt. 



Madison at her school Power House assembly, the kindergarteners did great, they sang about a year   of learning while they build friendships.



Bernie's visit

Madison got to take the class boy bear home for    the night, we took Bernie shopping for a new Halloween shirt

a reason to smile

Madison's MRI came back clear, there is a little  spot on her scan that Dr M doesn't like and we    will be watching that again next scan in 6 months,  it was verified that the spot is not tumor and is  not a reoccurence.

First Madison's blood pressure and pulse ox are       taken (with the help of her bink and daddy bear)

next she coats her mask with a flavored       chapstick (sedation gas stinks, and the       chapstick is supposed to help cover the smell)

then she waits, and waits...

I always take in and "help" get her settled,
this time she was holding her breath so
getting her to sleep took a bit longer then usual

she is finally out, and ready to begin the 45min MRI



then she is brought back to her dad and I to wake her up (with the help of oxygen)



she's never a happy girl coming out, and this time we left her IV in because
last time she got sick (i had her IV take out      before she was awake
and we could give her anything to help)
this time she was fine and told our nurse that      her IV hurt really bad and asked
to have it taken out shortly after waking up



her reward for doing so great - A quick stop to      Toys R Us to pick up Woody

she crashed out tonight just after her bath

J and I finally did it
over 11 years after we first met
almost 8 years of dating
a beautiful daughter added to our sons

we got married
and couldn't be happier

it was a beautiful wedding that was put together by his mom
(thank you Gin)
(and thank you to everyone that helped with everything)

I love hearing him call me his wife
I love calling him my husband

I should have pictures back from the photographer this week
I'm so excited

this picture has nothing to do with the post,     other then I should be worrying about teaching my Madison how to swing, not worrying about her cancer

i got the call from Dr M office
Madison's 6 month scans are scheduled
she will have to miss school
follow up appointment made
more missed school
she loves school, she loves KJ too and he is in her class ;)

and I am...
i don't know. i, as always, really think she's fine
i just hate that she has to go thru this, it's not fair
it's not fair that every 6 months J and I have to go thru this
i know that is being selfish and that Madison is the one that has done all the work and that she is amazing and strong, and that we have been very lucky.
but this time i feel like being selfish, i hate that we all have to do this.

prayers, positive thoughts are always welcome/needed.

Madison has a crush

madison has a crush
a huge crush on a sweet little boy in her kindergarten class
she tells her dad and I that she loves him, and that he is sooo cute
she has practiced getting all dolled up for a date with him
she packs extra cookies in her lunch for him
she asked J and I why she loves him soooo much
she tells us that she wants to marry him
this little boy has been the focus of madison's little world for the last couple weeks

just over a month into kindergarten, and she discovered boys?
i'm not ready for this

What the Dickens

Just finished what the dickens. It was ok. Not really my kind of book, but kinda cute. I bought it because I really liked the square shaped book. Silly reason I know, but that's the reason I bought it.
